To achieve optimal performance, we have been extremely strict while selecting the materials and the structure for this Perles and Danube cable. Eventually we go with a 8 core OCC silver-plated copper cable, each core is made of 19 wires to make a good combination and provide fast and stable transmission. The sound is greatly restored to the original, less distorted.
28 AWG Litz Structure, Braiding Cable
Because of the special structure of Litz, it is widely used to carry high frequency currents as the insulated strands each carry a portion of the current and prevent losses due to the skin effect. Thus Perles and Danube cables will offer a premium sound performance than other cables. Besides that, with the extraordinary braiding technique, the naturally formed pattern looks neat and elegant on it. It’s not too loud but noticeable. It feels soft and easily be stored without any tangling .

Timeless AE are paired with these Tripowin Danube, my Dioko are paired with Tripowin Altea. I was not a fan of the Tripowin Noire that was an upgrade option with the Timeless AE as the jack was causing static and popped off once doing yard work. I did not need swappable cable jack tips, so replaced the cable altogether. Both are worth the money, depending on use. I was unaware this Danube was a flat braided cable, and assumed it was all twist braid. Needed to look closer at the photo's. Not a big deal as it works as intended. It could be a tad longer, but works for me for the time being. I have an extension cable if needed.
I'll agree with and bounce off John's review: It does seem to add more body. I'm noticing a slightly deeper overall low end, and instrument separation. Also agree with more nuances....I heard a few instrument strikes that were not as present before changing out the cable, with the same song. Did not notice much difference in soundstage, but that may just be me or song choice. I got these to replace my stock cable on my 7Hz Timeless AE. I got it mainly for the color matching but also wanted a slight upgrade. For $60 it was worth the purchase and shipping time for a color change. Compared using Madeleine Peyroux (dance me to the end of love) FLAC. Unsure if the musical difference is real or just my brain trying to justify the purchase.
I get this cable to pair with my IE300 because it has MMCX that fits Senheiser iems. This cable totally change the sound for the better. It adds more body to the whole frequency range, making it sound richer & fuller. Bass sounds more elastic & bouncy, and has more nuances. I can't believe it, this is so good! When I change back to Senheiser cable, it sounds dryer(lacking of warm), thinner and less engaging. Yeah, I can totally recommend this cable for those who are still sitting on the fence. This cable will make u happy 😁 and bring out the sound quality of your iems that is otherwise buried. 👍👍👍 This cable is also very soft and light which is good. The ear hooks are a little small so I dipped them into a bowl of hot water and after it softened, I readjust the hooks to make it larger.
This cable feels very solid and doesn't have much microphonics, which makes it nice to travel with. If you are tall, the length of the cable might be on the short side, but accepting that your DAC sticks out of the pocket a bit, it works. The cable looks very well, too. If the MMCX connectors start to sit loose (e.g. due to repeated pressure applied to an earbud and the cable when inserting it into the ear), you can carefully expand them on the cable side using a thin knife or something like that...
I got this cable specifically for my Dunu Zen Pro. The stock Dunu cable died on me after a year, so I decided to go with the Tripowin Danube because I thought the colors would match well. I'm glad I was right because it matches very well with the Zen Pro. The connectors have the same color titanium glossy coated finish as the Zen Pro, so it's very streamlined and cohesive looking. I admit I was hesitant about the flat ribbon style design, but I actually really like it. It has zero issues with tangling. The MMCX connectors are very tight and stay sturdy along with the pre-formed ear hooks. This is an excellent cable for the price, it looks and feels like others I've tried at more than twice the price. Another Tripowin cable I have is the Altea, I recommend that one as well.
Amazing quality cable. Absolutely love the flat wire 8 core designs. The flat wire quality is even better than I expected it to be. The pin and the plug is very solid and high quality. For a price this affordable and for a quality this good, I am definitely willing to pay even more for a new interchangeable plug type in the future (if it'll ever happen). Nicely done, Tripowin.

How long does it take to process an order?
For in-stock products, your order is expected to be shipped within 3 working days. Customized items and pre-orders take a longer time (do check in with our staff for more information). On normal non-sale days, once your parcel is shipped:
- For Standard Shipping, it takes about 2-3 weeks for items to be delivered after it is shipped. For some countries, it might take up to 1-2 months, depending on your country and its custom procedure. The duration for transit is beyond our control. Mechlands does not arrange refunds for such cases. Please consider an upgrade to DHL Express or keep the waiting time in mind.
- For Express Shipping, it takes about 3-10 days for items to be delivered after it is shipped.

Shipping methods and period might be affected and changed due to festive seasons, pandemic circumstances or other unforeseen circumstances.
What kind of shipping do you offer?
We have two shipping methods - Standard Shipping and Express Shipping.
Standard Shipping is free for most countries/areas.
Express Shipping via DHL Express or FedEx is 10-40USD (excluding tax) depending on your country. If your order is over 500USD, DHL Express Shipping is free*.
*KiiBOOM keyboards are not eligible for free shipping.
Shipping fees exclude import taxes or processing fees that may be applicable for your country. Mechlands is not responsible for such fees. Should you refuse to pay the tax/customs fees, shipping fees will still be deducted from the amount paid for the two-way freight charges. The cost of the freight charges may be more than the amount reflected on your order due to tax and other miscellaneous fees.
Standard Shipping via YunExpress is a tax-inclusive option for some countries. However, Mechlands will not be responsible for additional administrative or handling fees charged by your local courier company or customs. Please kindly check this with your local customs.
For certain remote areas, there may be additional charges via Express Shipping. We will contact you if there is a need to make additional payments. Should you have any other queries regarding shipments, please contact us before placing an order.
Who does pay for the import tax/custom fees?
Customers have to bear any form of custom/import/processing fees that are applicable for your parcel.
If the custom fees and the delivery of the parcel are rejected by the recipient, the shipping cost still needs to be paid. Mechlands only arranges the refund of the order amount after deducting the shipping cost incurred.
Which countries do you ship to?
We are generally able to ship to most countries via Express Shipping, and many countries via Standard Shipping. Shipping methods may alter due to different situations. After proceeding to Checkout, the available shipping method(s) and cost will be stated before the payment page.

How do I cancel order?
Cancellation or/and modification of orders can only be done manually via our staff, provided that our Warehouse Team has not processed your order.
As our Support Team may not be available during non-working days and weekends, please place your order wisely as support cannot be guaranteed for such requests.
Should you really need to cancel or/and modify your order after purchase, please contact us via our support email (support@mechlands.com) or website chat. We will help you with the changes if that could be done.

Do I get tracking details for my order?
After placing an order, you will receive the order confirmation email. After your order is shipped, you will also receive a tracking email. You can track your order via the tracking number online. Should you not have received the emails or face any difficulties tracking your order, please kindly contact us for support.
What if i dislike the product once it arrives?
On the ground of disliking a product, you may return any non-customized and non-sales product that is sealed, within the 15 days upon receiving it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It also must be in the original packaging. Customized and sales products, accessories, or spare parts are excluded from the 15-day return policy. The shipping fee, handling fees, or any form of tax caused by return will NOT be refunded.
My product came with some kind of factory issue
For factory defective items within the first 30 days upon delivery, you would need to provide a solid proof. All customers are strongly advised to take an unboxing video of their parcel and packaging. If the item is defective due to manufacturing issues instead of unguided manual modifying/disassembling, Epomaker will provide a shipping label and reship the replacement unit or refund to you after receiving the return parcel.
