The DX5 II features two high-performance ESS ES9039Q2M DAC chips—one dedicated to each audio channel. This fully balanced architecture delivers significantly improved signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), dynamic range (DNR), and reduced distortion compared to its predecessor, the DX5, enabling exceptional high-resolution audio playback.
X-Hybrid Headphone Amplifier Circuit
Introducing the next evolution of NFCA technology, the X-Hybrid amplifier circuit. Utilizing a brand-new triple-stage hybrid amplification design, it retains the ultra-low distortion and high dynamic range characteristics of NFCA while enhancing efficiency and reducing power consumption and heat. Despite its compact form factor, the DX5 II integrates a fully balanced, quad-channel headphone amplifier.
Versatile Headphone Compatibility
With 6.35mm single-ended, 4.4mm balanced, and 4-pin XLR outputs, the DX5 II accommodates everything from ultra-sensitive IEMs to high-impedance headphones. Thanks to an ultra-low noise floor of just 1.8μVrms and up to 7600mW x 2 output power, it ensures clean, powerful performance across the board.
Aurora UI with Full-Color Display
Navigate your settings effortlessly with the 2.0-inch full-color screen and three-button control layout. Choose from nine customizable background colors and display modes (FFT, VU meter, or playback info) to match your aesthetic. The pressable knob supports assignable functions, letting you switch output modes and tailor your listening experience with ease.
Precision PEQ Adjustment
The DX5 II debuts TOPPING’s brand-new 10-band PEQ system, offering high-precision tuning of frequency, gain, and bandwidth for each band. With PC software support, users can import target curves, apply curve compensation, and save multiple presets. Independent PEQ profiles for headphone and line-out outputs allow you to dial in the perfect sound for any setup.
Wireless Hi-Res Audio via Bluetooth
Powered by a QCC5125 chip, the DX5 II supports Bluetooth 5.1 with high-resolution wireless audio transmission. Enjoy playback up to 96kHz/24bit with full support for LDAC, aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX, AAC, and SBC—delivering a wireless listening experience that rivals wired fidelity.
Plug & Play with Broad OS Support
Compatible with Windows 10/11, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android, the DX5 II features a third-gen XMOS XU316 USB interface with Thesycon drivers for stable and high-performance operation. USB input supports up to PCM 768kHz/32bit and DSD512, ensuring every detail is captured in your digital library.
Self-Developed I/V Conversion Circuit
A custom-designed I/V conversion circuit maximizes the performance of the dual DAC chips. By minimizing distortion and noise in a compact footprint, this circuit unlocks the full potential of the ES9039Q2M.
Direct-to-Speaker Preamp Mode
Activate preamp mode to control volume directly from the DX5 II when connecting to a power amplifier or active speakers—no external preamp needed. With volume memory for each input/output configuration, your listening settings are always just where you left them.
12V Trigger for System Integration

FAQ's
How long does it take to process an order?
For in-stock products, your order is expected to be shipped within 3 working days. Customized items and pre-orders take a longer time (do check in with our staff for more information). On normal non-sale days, once your parcel is shipped:
- For Standard Shipping, it takes about 2-3 weeks for items to be delivered after it is shipped. For some countries, it might take up to 1-2 months, depending on your country and its custom procedure. The duration for transit is beyond our control. Mechlands does not arrange refunds for such cases. Please consider an upgrade to DHL Express or keep the waiting time in mind.
- For Express Shipping, it takes about 3-10 days for items to be delivered after it is shipped.
Note:
Shipping methods and period might be affected and changed due to festive seasons, pandemic circumstances or other unforeseen circumstances.
What kind of shipping do you offer?
We have two shipping methods - Standard Shipping and Express Shipping.
Standard Shipping is free for most countries/areas.
Express Shipping via DHL Express or FedEx is 10-40USD (excluding tax) depending on your country. If your order is over 500USD, DHL Express Shipping is free*.
*KiiBOOM keyboards are not eligible for free shipping.
Shipping fees exclude import taxes or processing fees that may be applicable for your country. Mechlands is not responsible for such fees. Should you refuse to pay the tax/customs fees, shipping fees will still be deducted from the amount paid for the two-way freight charges. The cost of the freight charges may be more than the amount reflected on your order due to tax and other miscellaneous fees.
Standard Shipping via YunExpress is a tax-inclusive option for some countries. However, Mechlands will not be responsible for additional administrative or handling fees charged by your local courier company or customs. Please kindly check this with your local customs.
For certain remote areas, there may be additional charges via Express Shipping. We will contact you if there is a need to make additional payments. Should you have any other queries regarding shipments, please contact us before placing an order.
Who does pay for the import tax/custom fees?
Customers have to bear any form of custom/import/processing fees that are applicable for your parcel.
If the custom fees and the delivery of the parcel are rejected by the recipient, the shipping cost still needs to be paid. Mechlands only arranges the refund of the order amount after deducting the shipping cost incurred.
Which countries do you ship to?
We are generally able to ship to most countries via Express Shipping, and many countries via Standard Shipping. Shipping methods may alter due to different situations. After proceeding to Checkout, the available shipping method(s) and cost will be stated before the payment page.

Note: For countries and areas of Africa, Alaska, Argentina, Canada, Hawaii, Kuwait, Mauritius, Montenegro and Sri Lanka, to name a few, we can only do Express Shipping. This may be subjected to changes due to unpredictable events such as pandemic, war, and etc.
How do I cancel order?
Cancellation or/and modification of orders can only be done manually via our staff, provided that our Warehouse Team has not processed your order.
As our Support Team may not be available during non-working days and weekends, please place your order wisely as support cannot be guaranteed for such requests.
Should you really need to cancel or/and modify your order after purchase, please contact us via our support email (support@mechlands.com) or website chat. We will help you with the changes if that could be done.

Do I get tracking details for my order?
After placing an order, you will receive the order confirmation email. After your order is shipped, you will also receive a tracking email. You can track your order via the tracking number online. Should you not have received the emails or face any difficulties tracking your order, please kindly contact us for support.
What if i dislike the product once it arrives?
On the ground of disliking a product, you may return any non-customized and non-sales product that is sealed, within the 15 days upon receiving it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It also must be in the original packaging. Customized and sales products, accessories, or spare parts are excluded from the 15-day return policy. The shipping fee, handling fees, or any form of tax caused by return will NOT be refunded.
My product came with some kind of factory issue
For factory defective items within the first 30 days upon delivery, you would need to provide a solid proof. All customers are strongly advised to take an unboxing video of their parcel and packaging. If the item is defective due to manufacturing issues instead of unguided manual modifying/disassembling, Epomaker will provide a shipping label and reship the replacement unit or refund to you after receiving the return parcel.
