The T series IEMs have garnered international praise for their excellent sound quality and affordability. The T5 continues on this legacy to combine the latest driver technology with excellent sound quality. The T5 utilizes the next generation of carbon drivers: DOC. In the recent few years, DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) dynamic drivers have been popular for their fast responsiveness, achieved by their carbon material. From this foundation, Tin Hifi has engineered the next innovation in dynamic driver technology. The new 10mm DOC driver features an enhanced molecular carbon atom structure and composition that more closely mirrors that of diamond. The new structural design allows the DOC diaphragm to be thinner, while being 60% stronger and more rigid than that of traditional DLC diaphragms. Furthermore, due the closer proximity of the carbon atoms to each other, the DOC driver is 5 times harder than that of typical ceramic diaphragms.
Moreover, the physical properties of the DOC diamond diaphragm will not change even after many years of use. This feature has a great effect on the heat dissipation of the voice coil. Additional benefits of the DOC includes:
1. The DOC diamond diaphragm unit can achieve a complete linear frequency response, achieving detailed and excellent broadband and instant response, and strong dynamic contrast.
2. The DOC diamond diaphragm unit can push the split vibration frequency to a higher level, and the T5 can cover an unimaginable bandwidth range to ensure that the ideal frequency response is obtained in the two end frequency bands audible to the human ear.
3. The frequency linearity that the DOC diaphragm provides allows the mid-frequency to be completely coherent with the bass and the treble, creating a transparency in the texture and sound balance, while minimizing phase offsets.
In short, the T5 achieves an immensely punchy bass response that is combined with extremely well-extended and detailed ultra-high frequencies. The textural properties of its sound is characterized by a cohesive smoothness, linearity, and transparency across the frequency spectrum. The DOC driver is an innovation that is just as audible as it is industry-leading.
New Face
The housing of the T5 has been constructed of aviation grade aluminumto achieve an even more refined look, as well as durability. To tune the new DOC driver, the internal cavities of the housing have been carefully designed with several unique acoustic chambers that have been mathematically calculated to achieve the perfect angles of reflection for the sound waves. Additionally, the T5 is the first of its series to utilize machine learning strategies to design the perfect shape to match that of the average human ear. Matching every curvature of the typical human ear, the fit of the T5 is ergonomic and secure, allowing long hours of listening without any discomfort. This new shape design also allows greater sound isolation, allowing you to immerse yourself in the music even when you are commuting or on the stage.
Kevlar Plated Cable
In preparing the T5, Tin Hifi has pulled out all the stops to make it special and unique. The T5 comes stock with a 40/0.05 Oxygen Free Copper cable that is plated with 200D Kevlar to achieve complete electrical isolation for an extremely fast and clean transmission. This 4-core cable is extremely lightweight, tangle-free, and comfortable allowing you to feel as if it was cable-free.

TinHiFi T5
I believe that these are good IEM's; however, the bass is not what I thought it would be and the trebles seem shrill at times. I have added an amp to be able to increase the volume level when using my iPod Touch and that seems to have helped. I didn't think this would be necessary, though...
All in all, I'm going to keep listening to see how they perform over time. I have purchased several Linsoul IEM's so this is not my first go-round--and something that seems to be problematic for me with every purchase.
I am NOT a techie...I just happen to know what I like.

Title says it all…my first Tin purchase, and the sound, while a twitch bassy, is comparable to much more expensive Shure and Fiio iems
this iem covers a wide range of frequency for a one dynamic driver its more mid-bassy than sub, highs are clear and stage is really next level on these and its a good pairing with the qudelix 5k.
Not bad IEM for the price. Pleasant sound without much details.

How long does it take to process an order?
For in-stock products, your order is expected to be shipped within 3 working days. Customized items and pre-orders take a longer time (do check in with our staff for more information). On normal non-sale days, once your parcel is shipped:
- For Standard Shipping, it takes about 2-3 weeks for items to be delivered after it is shipped. For some countries, it might take up to 1-2 months, depending on your country and its custom procedure. The duration for transit is beyond our control. Mechlands does not arrange refunds for such cases. Please consider an upgrade to DHL Express or keep the waiting time in mind.
- For Express Shipping, it takes about 3-10 days for items to be delivered after it is shipped.
Note:
Shipping methods and period might be affected and changed due to festive seasons, pandemic circumstances or other unforeseen circumstances.
What kind of shipping do you offer?
We have two shipping methods - Standard Shipping and Express Shipping.
Standard Shipping is free for most countries/areas.
Express Shipping via DHL Express or FedEx is 10-40USD (excluding tax) depending on your country. If your order is over 500USD, DHL Express Shipping is free*.
*KiiBOOM keyboards are not eligible for free shipping.
Shipping fees exclude import taxes or processing fees that may be applicable for your country. Mechlands is not responsible for such fees. Should you refuse to pay the tax/customs fees, shipping fees will still be deducted from the amount paid for the two-way freight charges. The cost of the freight charges may be more than the amount reflected on your order due to tax and other miscellaneous fees.
Standard Shipping via YunExpress is a tax-inclusive option for some countries. However, Mechlands will not be responsible for additional administrative or handling fees charged by your local courier company or customs. Please kindly check this with your local customs.
For certain remote areas, there may be additional charges via Express Shipping. We will contact you if there is a need to make additional payments. Should you have any other queries regarding shipments, please contact us before placing an order.
Who does pay for the import tax/custom fees?
Customers have to bear any form of custom/import/processing fees that are applicable for your parcel.
If the custom fees and the delivery of the parcel are rejected by the recipient, the shipping cost still needs to be paid. Mechlands only arranges the refund of the order amount after deducting the shipping cost incurred.
Which countries do you ship to?
We are generally able to ship to most countries via Express Shipping, and many countries via Standard Shipping. Shipping methods may alter due to different situations. After proceeding to Checkout, the available shipping method(s) and cost will be stated before the payment page.

How do I cancel order?
Cancellation or/and modification of orders can only be done manually via our staff, provided that our Warehouse Team has not processed your order.
As our Support Team may not be available during non-working days and weekends, please place your order wisely as support cannot be guaranteed for such requests.

Do I get tracking details for my order?
After placing an order, you will receive the order confirmation email. After your order is shipped, you will also receive a tracking email. You can track your order via the tracking number online. Should you not have received the emails or face any difficulties tracking your order, please kindly contact us for support.
What if i dislike the product once it arrives?
On the ground of disliking a product, you may return any non-customized and non-sales product that is sealed, within the 15 days upon receiving it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It also must be in the original packaging. Customized and sales products, accessories, or spare parts are excluded from the 15-day return policy. The shipping fee, handling fees, or any form of tax caused by return will NOT be refunded.
My product came with some kind of factory issue
For factory defective items within the first 30 days upon delivery, you would need to provide a solid proof. All customers are strongly advised to take an unboxing video of their parcel and packaging. If the item is defective due to manufacturing issues instead of unguided manual modifying/disassembling, Epomaker will provide a shipping label and reship the replacement unit or refund to you after receiving the return parcel.
