The Elixir project aims to achieve one principal goal - capture the spirit and emotion of the sound while maintaining a natural tonality that stays true to the recording. The latest driver innovations and acoustic engineering strategies have made possible incredible audio resolution that resonates with an analog texture unique only to the playback from the Elixir. Intended more for luxurious listening sessions rather than stage performances, the Elixir is the audiophile’s dream of a personal vintage sound system.
3-Dimensional Velocity Transducer
The soul of the Elixir lies within its newly developed 3-Dimensional Velocity Transducer. A completely innovative driver unique from traditional dynamic drivers, the 3D Velocity Transducer diaphragm is composed of beryllium-coated interweaving layers of multi-walled carbon nanotube sheets, which creates an extremely dense and rigid membrane capable of higher tensions and resulting in more responsiveness.
The internal structure of the driver is also novel, utilizing stronger pole magnets and a completely copper voice coil actuator, unlike traditional aluminum ones used in most dynamic driver assemblies.
These features create an extremely enhanced level of audio resolution that transparently reveal the detailed nuances within each note. Moreover, these uncompromising driver components relay a texture within the sound that is completely unique in typical in-ear headphones, which can only be described as vintage and analog.
Balanced and Natural Tonality
The Elixir has been meticulously tuned to deliver a natural and balanced sound that is free of any harsh abnormalities or lacking at any frequency interval. This meant the treble had to be detailed and resolving, without introducing any resemblance of piercing or shrill metallic timbre. Following the now well-established natural decay curvature found in all of THIEAUDIO’s signature series in-ear monitors, the Elixir’s upper frequencies deliver a smooth yet precise relay of every miniscule detail in the music.
Oftentimes in in-ear headphones, the sense of audio resolution is simply a derivative of treble resonance. With the 3D Velocity Transducer utilized in the Elixir, realistic high-definition audio is a textural quality found at every frequency range. The bass and midrange had to be tuned in a manner that highlights this feature. Rather than a hard “V”-shaped tuning profile used in most in-ear devices, the Elixir’s mids have been carefully adjusted to be balanced and neutral, with the slightest touch of warmth that elevates the sense of a vintage and lush sound.
The extremely rigid structure of this new diaphragm achieves incredible punctuality in the sub-bass. The bass has been focused to powerfully kick in when required, but not disturb the natural tonality of the overall sound signature, especially when the music doesn’t call for it. This means that you’ll get all of the impactful thump in your hip-hop and EDM tracks, while still being able to enjoy your soft acoustic and classical pieces without any muddying in the sound.
Handcrafted Care, Quality that Lasts
Each Elixir unit is handcrafted from precision printed and CNC components. The acoustic chamber housing the 3D Velocity Transducer was carefully engineered to produce the required tonal signature, and each driver unit is manually tested and pair-matched before being hand-assembled. The beautiful anodized aluminum bezel ensures the color won't chip or fade off even with time.
The faceplate is milled from a limited quantity of solid genuine burl wood block, which is coated before being embedded within the aluminum bezel. The final assembly undergoes a round of manual quality assurance inspection, consisting of both acoustic measurements as well as physical hardware inspections, before being packaged.
26AWG High Quality Litz Cable
The Elixir comes with a high quality 2 core of 92 wires 0.06mm Single-Crystal Copper and 24 wires 0.06mm Silver-Plated OCC Copper Litz upgrade cable. This stock cable has a 3.5mm single-ended cable termination. Additionally, having the 0.78mm 2-pin connectors means that the cable can be detached and changed to fit your needs. Hand paired specifically for the Elixir, the stock cable perfectly complements the aesthetic and sonic pleasures of the IEM.

FAQ's
How long does it take to process an order?
For in-stock products, your order is expected to be shipped within 3 working days. Customized items and pre-orders take a longer time (do check in with our staff for more information). On normal non-sale days, once your parcel is shipped:
- For Standard Shipping, it takes about 2-3 weeks for items to be delivered after it is shipped. For some countries, it might take up to 1-2 months, depending on your country and its custom procedure. The duration for transit is beyond our control. Mechlands does not arrange refunds for such cases. Please consider an upgrade to DHL Express or keep the waiting time in mind.
- For Express Shipping, it takes about 3-10 days for items to be delivered after it is shipped.

Shipping methods and period might be affected and changed due to festive seasons, pandemic circumstances or other unforeseen circumstances.
What kind of shipping do you offer?
We have two shipping methods - Standard Shipping and Express Shipping.
Standard Shipping is free for most countries/areas.
Express Shipping via DHL Express or FedEx is 10-40USD (excluding tax) depending on your country. If your order is over 500USD, DHL Express Shipping is free*.
*KiiBOOM keyboards are not eligible for free shipping.
Shipping fees exclude import taxes or processing fees that may be applicable for your country. Mechlands is not responsible for such fees. Should you refuse to pay the tax/customs fees, shipping fees will still be deducted from the amount paid for the two-way freight charges. The cost of the freight charges may be more than the amount reflected on your order due to tax and other miscellaneous fees.
Standard Shipping via YunExpress is a tax-inclusive option for some countries. However, Mechlands will not be responsible for additional administrative or handling fees charged by your local courier company or customs. Please kindly check this with your local customs.
For certain remote areas, there may be additional charges via Express Shipping. We will contact you if there is a need to make additional payments. Should you have any other queries regarding shipments, please contact us before placing an order.
Who does pay for the import tax/custom fees?
Customers have to bear any form of custom/import/processing fees that are applicable for your parcel.
If the custom fees and the delivery of the parcel are rejected by the recipient, the shipping cost still needs to be paid. Mechlands only arranges the refund of the order amount after deducting the shipping cost incurred.
Which countries do you ship to?
We are generally able to ship to most countries via Express Shipping, and many countries via Standard Shipping. Shipping methods may alter due to different situations. After proceeding to Checkout, the available shipping method(s) and cost will be stated before the payment page.

How do I cancel order?
Cancellation or/and modification of orders can only be done manually via our staff, provided that our Warehouse Team has not processed your order.
As our Support Team may not be available during non-working days and weekends, please place your order wisely as support cannot be guaranteed for such requests.
Should you really need to cancel or/and modify your order after purchase, please contact us via our support email (support@mechlands.com) or website chat. We will help you with the changes if that could be done.

Do I get tracking details for my order?
After placing an order, you will receive the order confirmation email. After your order is shipped, you will also receive a tracking email. You can track your order via the tracking number online. Should you not have received the emails or face any difficulties tracking your order, please kindly contact us for support.
What if i dislike the product once it arrives?
On the ground of disliking a product, you may return any non-customized and non-sales product that is sealed, within the 15 days upon receiving it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It also must be in the original packaging. Customized and sales products, accessories, or spare parts are excluded from the 15-day return policy. The shipping fee, handling fees, or any form of tax caused by return will NOT be refunded.
My product came with some kind of factory issue
For factory defective items within the first 30 days upon delivery, you would need to provide a solid proof. All customers are strongly advised to take an unboxing video of their parcel and packaging. If the item is defective due to manufacturing issues instead of unguided manual modifying/disassembling, Epomaker will provide a shipping label and reship the replacement unit or refund to you after receiving the return parcel.
