Tempotec Variations 6 is a brand new Android digital audio player designed with newly-developed AK4493SE AKM DAC chips. It promises quality performance with its professionally designed audio architecture. Variations 6 comes loaded with open Android 8.1 OS with SRC Bypass architecture delivering quality sound on all the different applications. Tempotec has featured separate output ports for headphone-out and line-out functions. With its balanced audio circuitry, the V6 has both 3.5mm and 4.4mm output options.

Tempotec Variations 6 adopts a premium Dual DAC chipset on its audio circuitry. It houses the newly-developed AKM AK4493SE DAC Chips that deliver an impressive performance in decoding high-resolution audio signals. The V6 produces clean output with ultra-low distortion and high SNR, and DNR ratings promising a quality performance.

Tempotec V6 features an independently designed pyramid analog amplifier circuit for each channel. This consists of dual OPA1612 chips on the LPF circuit and four OPA1688 on the main amplification circuit. It produces a clean and powerful output that drives most IEMs and Headphones with ease!!

V6 features a true high-fidelity audio circuit that consists of powerful amplification circuitry. It produces up to 610mW of clean output power through the 4.4mm Balanced headphone output easily driving most headphones!!
Professional FPGA Technology
In order to maintain ultra-low jitter in the signal circuit, Tempotec has featured a specially designed FPGA digital clock circuit on the V6. It houses a custom-made dual-crystal oscillator system with high-precision and low-phase noise.
Open Android 8.1 OS with SRC Architecture Bypass
V6 comes loaded with an open Android 8.1 OS. It has been customized with an SRC architecture bypass allowing every media application to get full access to the DAC and other audio components. With Android you get countless media applications, with SRC Bypass, you get to enjoy Hi-Res audio across different applications.
Supports Both Single-Ended and Balanced Connections
Tempotec V6 supports both Single-Ended as well as Balanced headphone connections. V6 features 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm single-ended connections. It houses separate ports for both line-out and headphone-out functions.

I’d actually totally disagree with the other reviews. I’ve owned this dap now for a month and never had any issues. I have a 128 gb card in it and have filled it with music from my personal library of FLAC, ALAC, and a few random mp3s, along with downloaded music from Tidal and Spotify. It runs everything perfectly. Sound is impressive. My wife is not an audiophile but even she notices the difference when we listen together in the car or when I plug it into our home system. I use it a ton with my Grado sr225x and it sounds amazing. Recently bought a balanced 4.4mm cable for my Tanzer wan’er iems and it’s been a very real upgrade. Of course this is not the fastest or flashiest dap out there but for the money it has a lot of really great features and sound quality is pretty impressive. HiByMusic music is user friendly for my personal library and Tidal and Spotify work great. Battery has been more than sufficient. Free case is a great touch! Great buy!
Was interested in this DAP, but saw it has problems with the UI. I would probably buy this since I don’t care about the streaming capabilities, but it’s $100 to high for me. It should never be over $300 at all!

How long does it take to process an order?
For in-stock products, your order is expected to be shipped within 3 working days. Customized items and pre-orders take a longer time (do check in with our staff for more information). On normal non-sale days, once your parcel is shipped:
- For Standard Shipping, it takes about 2-3 weeks for items to be delivered after it is shipped. For some countries, it might take up to 1-2 months, depending on your country and its custom procedure. The duration for transit is beyond our control. Mechlands does not arrange refunds for such cases. Please consider an upgrade to DHL Express or keep the waiting time in mind.
- For Express Shipping, it takes about 3-10 days for items to be delivered after it is shipped.

Shipping methods and period might be affected and changed due to festive seasons, pandemic circumstances or other unforeseen circumstances.
What kind of shipping do you offer?
We have two shipping methods - Standard Shipping and Express Shipping.
Standard Shipping is free for most countries/areas.
Express Shipping via DHL Express or FedEx is 10-40USD (excluding tax) depending on your country. If your order is over 500USD, DHL Express Shipping is free*.
*KiiBOOM keyboards are not eligible for free shipping.
Shipping fees exclude import taxes or processing fees that may be applicable for your country. Mechlands is not responsible for such fees. Should you refuse to pay the tax/customs fees, shipping fees will still be deducted from the amount paid for the two-way freight charges. The cost of the freight charges may be more than the amount reflected on your order due to tax and other miscellaneous fees.
Standard Shipping via YunExpress is a tax-inclusive option for some countries. However, Mechlands will not be responsible for additional administrative or handling fees charged by your local courier company or customs. Please kindly check this with your local customs.
For certain remote areas, there may be additional charges via Express Shipping. We will contact you if there is a need to make additional payments. Should you have any other queries regarding shipments, please contact us before placing an order.
Who does pay for the import tax/custom fees?
Customers have to bear any form of custom/import/processing fees that are applicable for your parcel.
If the custom fees and the delivery of the parcel are rejected by the recipient, the shipping cost still needs to be paid. Mechlands only arranges the refund of the order amount after deducting the shipping cost incurred.
Which countries do you ship to?
We are generally able to ship to most countries via Express Shipping, and many countries via Standard Shipping. Shipping methods may alter due to different situations. After proceeding to Checkout, the available shipping method(s) and cost will be stated before the payment page.

How do I cancel order?
Cancellation or/and modification of orders can only be done manually via our staff, provided that our Warehouse Team has not processed your order.
As our Support Team may not be available during non-working days and weekends, please place your order wisely as support cannot be guaranteed for such requests.
Should you really need to cancel or/and modify your order after purchase, please contact us via our support email (support@mechlands.com) or website chat. We will help you with the changes if that could be done.

Do I get tracking details for my order?
After placing an order, you will receive the order confirmation email. After your order is shipped, you will also receive a tracking email. You can track your order via the tracking number online. Should you not have received the emails or face any difficulties tracking your order, please kindly contact us for support.
What if i dislike the product once it arrives?
On the ground of disliking a product, you may return any non-customized and non-sales product that is sealed, within the 15 days upon receiving it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It also must be in the original packaging. Customized and sales products, accessories, or spare parts are excluded from the 15-day return policy. The shipping fee, handling fees, or any form of tax caused by return will NOT be refunded.
My product came with some kind of factory issue
For factory defective items within the first 30 days upon delivery, you would need to provide a solid proof. All customers are strongly advised to take an unboxing video of their parcel and packaging. If the item is defective due to manufacturing issues instead of unguided manual modifying/disassembling, Epomaker will provide a shipping label and reship the replacement unit or refund to you after receiving the return parcel.
