Innovative Four-Driver Hybrid Configuration

The SuperMix 4 features a luxurious configuration of four different driver types: one dynamic driver (DD), one balanced armature (BA), one planar magnetic driver, and one piezoelectric (PZT) transducer. This carefully constructed four-in-one matrix acoustics architecture allows for precise frequency response adjustment and overall balance. The dynamic driver utilizes a 10mm high-polymer diaphragm to deliver powerful, detailed low frequencies, while the BA, planar, and PZT drivers each contribute to a seamless, unified sound signature, providing an enchanting auditory experience.

High-Performance Low-Frequency Dynamic Driver

Specially developed for the SuperMix 4, the 10mm dynamic driver boasts a high-elastic suspension system and long-stroke design, combined with a custom high-polymer nano-diaphragm. Through extensive simulation and experimentation, a powerful magnetic circuit system was created. This driver ensures robust and natural low frequencies, enhancing the overall listening experience with rich, immersive bass that integrates perfectly with the BA and other drivers, resulting in a coherent and natural sound.

Superior Mid-Frequency Balanced Armature Driver

The large balanced armature driver in the SuperMix 4 stands out for its full-range response and natural tonal quality. Unlike smaller BA drivers that might produce less dense or artificial-sounding vocals, this large BA unit delivers lush, smooth mids and highs with high density and refined detail. It captures subtle nuances such as breath and articulation, making vocals deeply emotive and realistic.

High-Frequency Planar Magnetic and PZT Drivers

The micro planar magnetic driver in the SuperMix 4 covers high frequencies with low distortion and wide bandwidth, offering rich detail and natural tonal quality. Compared to electrostatic drivers, it is easier to drive and enhances high-frequency detail effortlessly. Additionally, the PZT piezoelectric transducer, with its multi-layer ceramic coating and copper substrate, extends the high and ultra-high frequencies, reducing mechanical noise and enhancing airiness and resolution, providing a refined and intricate sound.

Precision Tuning and Advanced Acoustic Design

SuperMix 4 employs advanced tuning techniques, combining independent sound paths with an RC four-way crossover. This design minimizes phase inconsistencies and distortion, ensuring smooth and continuous frequency response. Using 3D-printed resin housings and CNC-machined metal parts, each driver has a separate acoustic duct for precise sound control. This meticulous approach allows for accurate frequency division and tuning, resulting in a balanced and natural sound signature that caters to both Hi-Fi enthusiasts and professional musicians.

Elegant Design and High-Quality Cable

The SuperMix 4 combines a sleek, black translucent resin shell with a matte metal faceplate for both aesthetic and acoustic benefits. Its ergonomic design, based on extensive 3D ear data, ensures a comfortable and secure fit. It includes a high-quality, detachable 0.78mm 2-pin oxygen-free copper silver-plated cable, enhancing sound clarity and separation. The cable's lightweight, durable design ensures long-lasting performance and reliability. The innovative design, premium materials, and meticulous craftsmanship make the SuperMix 4 both an auditory marvel and a stylish accessory.

A great all rounder

Having listened to the Supermix 4 for some time now, I am very happy with the sound. The detail retrieval is the first thing that hit me. Songs i have heard many times before have beenb given a new life. The Supermix4 is able to separate the instruments really well and place them clearly audible all through the range. The bass is really nice, meaty, clear and with rumble when i'm listening to Reggae or Drum & Bass. I don't mind using EQ and I find that for my love of bass a tiny gain in the low frequencies suits me better. The mids are clear and punchy. The only thing I could complain about is that although the treble is really well done, it has got a crispy edge to it in some songs leading me to tweak it a bit to avoid it getting on my nerves. I hope that with a bit more time this might soften up a bit. Over all, the mids and treble are beautifully done and I'm able to enjoy my music across many genres without wanting more in terms of detail, separation, soundstage and tonality. I am very happy and well aware that an upgrade will cost well over twice as much.

So good im selling my $500 iem

So good that I'm selling my Xenns Top. Not a joke.
After I got these I can't justify keeping my Xenns Top as they really are not worth 3 times the price over the Supermix 4. The Supermix 4 is literally like 90% of the Xenns Top.
This is peak harman iem that can be endgame for most of the people out there. Nothing about these I can really nitpick about for this price.
Thank you Simgot for this amazing iem!

Awesome

I only had few IEMs prior to the Supermix4

I wanted to use the S4 for gaming, which did not disappoint. I pair with the Moondrop dawn pro and it is amazing.

Only complaint I have is that, if you wear it too long the top of the earhook just adds pressure.

Not the best comfort but worth the pain.

EndGame audio for 150!!!

You don't need to spend 500$ or more to get premium audio when the SM4 exists. Driver coherency, separation, tuning, details.. this iem has everything you would want.
After 2,5 years, my search for a daily driver/all purpose IEM is over.

The only con is the incompatibility with a lot of tips. Due to the nozzle shape, tips like Velvet Divinus or Tang Sancai don't stick to the iem and tend to get stuck on the ear canal.
Also i had a lot of trouble with the shipping. Besides that, im in love.

(BTW: pls use a dongle with this iem's. If you use you stock pc 3.5 jack it wont sound right.)

Disappointed (bad copy?)

I bought these IEM's after hearing good things about them and watching a ton of reviews online.
I am not an audiophile, coming from a HyperX Cloud 2, used mainly for gaming and a good amount of classical music, these IEM's are not like the reviews I've sen online, maybe I got used to the headset I was using and my expectations are off. I find them very bassy, even muddy when there are multiple things happening in audio tracks or games, I don't hear more details than with my headset, I'd say the imaging is good though.
I may have received a faulty pair of IEM's because I get a strange noise when listening to voices, it sounds like a little grain of sand is stuck inside the IEM and I can hear it vibrate whenever listening someone speak, this is definitely not normal and it only happens on the left side.
Just for context, I have been using them every day for about a week and i have only used them on my PC (plugged in the front pannel), I heard this might be the reason why they sound very bassy (they sound similar on my phone, maybe a bit less bassy but i still get the grain of sand noise).
Considering the price and the reviews i've seen online, I might have set my expectations too high but this is a disapointing experience for me.
I ordered a Moondrop dawn pro dongle DAC since it was recommended to me and it should make them less bassy. I may end up returning them anyway because of the grain of sand noise.

Endgame IEM

This IEM is truly amazing, I really can't find any negatives about these, I love the sub-bass, gives it a really nice complete sound and the treble isn't as aggressive as to what SIMGOT is known for, I personally don't see how buying more expensive iems would upgrade these in any way. I just find these perfect, for music, movies, competitive FPS gaming.
Just in general... endgame.

Excellent value, but don't give it too much power

My favorite audio gear period right now. Wide soundstage, lots of detail, and a good amount of sub bass. Works great for all genres I've thrown at it and feels like a wallhack in games. Just be careful how much power you throw at it, because it is only 7 ohm and will get really shouty if you give it too much power. 7hz 71 works really well with it, and also just plugging it in directly to a phone is fine if you have the jack for it. I was using a cheap, unbranded aliexpress dongle dac on both PC and my phone, and it was giving me a headache. I should have to add that these are also incredibly smooth in the treble region, even more so if you're using memory foam eartips. I got them for $20 off at the summer sale, but I would have easily paid full price for them.

Absolute STEAL for the price

A quadbrid of this quality and coherence at this price range is unheard of. Massive props to Simgot for pulling it off. Listening to it, you'd never think it had such an exotic driver configuration; it's just THAT smooth. It goes for a Harman-like sound signature while fixing one of its major shortcomings (in my opinion), which is the heavily rolled off treble and air frequencies. The Supermix 4 continues to extend into the air frequencies, creating a nice sense of space and soundstage without becoming sharp or sibilant whatsoever.

I do have a couple of nitpicks.

The first is that I wish my other gripe with Harman was addressed, which is the rolled off mid-bass. For my personal preference, I'd have preferred maybe 1-1.5dB taken off the sub-bass and added onto the mid-bass, as I do like my low-end to have a little more body and impact for things like kick drums and male vocals. But the bass that it has is very high quality, and I can live with it.

The other is more than 3 pairs of eartips would've been appreciated. The tips included have fairly narrow bores, so maybe another set of 3 with wider bores would've been nice to have.

But overall, it's a very smooth, well-implemented quadbrid all-rounder set. I can easily see this being many people's endgame IEMs.

SuperMix 4 is Super Smooth

Pleasant tuning: Bass doesn't bleed into mids while still has lots of "punch" and rumble. Mids aren't very recessed but would prefer just slightly more, especially for certain male vocals. Treble is not shouty and fatiguing, which is a great plus point. Some female vocals do really shine on certain tracks; it seems like the 1 Planar+1 PZT drivers are doing well.
Instruments sound great, especially guitar and bass guitar.
Good detail retrieval and a relatively wide sense of space. It's understandable that some people would use this for gaming.
Don't think an AMP is needed since it's so easy to drive.
I thought the shells would be too thick as there are 4 drivers inside each earbud but they are actually quite comfortable to wear for long hours.
Happy to have a carry case included but the variety of ear tips is lacking.
Would give 4.5-5 stars for this.

Might not be for everyone, but this boy really hits me

In one phrase, it's a smooth all-rounder with nice tonal balance and a particular character.
I'm considering getting Pilgrim or Hype 4, but SM4 is still on my list.
Willing to purchase it again if something goes wrong with it.
