A new addition to the updated BTR5 2021, there is support for MQA Renderer, allowing for high-resolution, master-level sound quality in reasonably sized files well-suited for your mobile device.
Outstanding Bluetooth and USB Performance
Your Bluetooth device can be transformed into a part of a Hi-Res wireless setup by simply connecting it to the BTR5 2021. With the help of the BTR5 2021 and Bluetooth version 5.0, which supports high-resolution formats such as AAC/SBC/aptX/aptX Low Latency/aptX HD/LDAC up to 96kHz, you can get a totally portable yet excellent-sounding setup with your current device. The Qualcomm CSR8675 is a low-power Bluetooth chip with enhanced audio capabilities such 24-bit audio processing and 120 MHz DSP, allowing it to powerfully handle various Bluetooth decoding functions with ease. Utilizing an XMOS XUF208 control chip, the BTR5 2021 is capable of asynchronous audio decoding under USB Audio Class 2.0. As a USB DAC, the BTR5 2021 can decode up to a 384 kHz sampling rate and in native DSD.
FPGA Precision Clock Management
An FPGA is responsible for the transmission and reception of Bluetooth and USB digital audio signals as well as clock management. In the BTR5 2021, after the Bluetooth signal is processed through the FPGA, jitter is greatly reduced and signal stability is improved, completely solving the problem of different clock rates that exist between the different parts of the audio architecture. With the addition of a dedicated FPGA, the 45.1584/49.152 MHz dual crystal oscillators can more accurately reproduce audio signals under various sampling rates during Bluetooth and USB decoding.
Balanced and Single-Ended Outputs
For greater power and detailed resolution, the BTR5 2021 features both balanced and single-ended outputs. In its balanced-audio architecture, each channel is driven separately with its own DAC and amplifier, allowing the BTR5 2021 to produce a purer sound with unmatched finesse and balance. In order to ensure the BTR5 2021 operates normally, when both 3.5mm and 2.5mm outputs both have plugs inserted, only the 3.5mm port will output sound.
OLED Screen and Intuitive Controls
A major feature of the BTR5 2021 is the crisp 0.49-inch 64x32 resolution OLED screen that displays pairing / connection / call status / power status / encoding format / volume data. And with the display, you can call up a menu that allows you to visually view and adjust the charging status, enable car mode, and change filters and EQ settings, etc.
When you connect the BTR5 2021 to your phone, the phone's volume and the BTR5 2021's volume can be adjusted separately, allowing you to better fine-tune the volume to your needs. The BTR5 2021 also conveniently remembers your desired volume.
When a USB connection is detected the BTR5 2021, it will automatically prompt you to turn on USB Audio Adapter mode, which turns off charging to the BTR5 2021, and allows you to use it as an audio dongle for your phone or other devices.
When connected to a phone and acting as a USB DAC, the BTR5 2021 can be configured to purposefully source power from the phone. The dedicated in-vehicle mode allows the BTR5 2021 to automatically turn on and off with the car, further enhancing your convenience.
Scientifically precise, yet intuitive settings allow you to tune the BTR5 2021 to suit any purpose you have in mind, such as channel balancing, filtering with two audio, and EQing with the 10-band equalizer. Of special note is the ability to adjust odd- and even-order harmonic distortion, allowing you to make the music warmer or colder to reveal every side of music yet to be heard.

2 Microphones with cVc 8.0 Noise Cancellation
While the BTR5 2021 has a built-in omnidirectional high-sensitivity microphone, you can use an external microphone in a 3.5mm CTIA headset. When using either set of microphones, you can benefit from cVc 8.0 noise-cancellation technology, which intelligently adjusts microphone gain and effectively suppresses background noise for crystal-clear calls.

FAQ's
How long does it take to process an order?
For in-stock products, your order is expected to be shipped within 3 working days. Customized items and pre-orders take a longer time (do check in with our staff for more information). On normal non-sale days, once your parcel is shipped:
- For Standard Shipping, it takes about 2-3 weeks for items to be delivered after it is shipped. For some countries, it might take up to 1-2 months, depending on your country and its custom procedure. The duration for transit is beyond our control. Mechlands does not arrange refunds for such cases. Please consider an upgrade to DHL Express or keep the waiting time in mind.
- For Express Shipping, it takes about 3-10 days for items to be delivered after it is shipped.
Note:
Shipping methods and period might be affected and changed due to festive seasons, pandemic circumstances or other unforeseen circumstances.
What kind of shipping do you offer?
We have two shipping methods - Standard Shipping and Express Shipping.
Standard Shipping is free for most countries/areas.
Express Shipping via DHL Express or FedEx is 10-40USD (excluding tax) depending on your country. If your order is over 500USD, DHL Express Shipping is free*.
*KiiBOOM keyboards are not eligible for free shipping.
Shipping fees exclude import taxes or processing fees that may be applicable for your country. Mechlands is not responsible for such fees. Should you refuse to pay the tax/customs fees, shipping fees will still be deducted from the amount paid for the two-way freight charges. The cost of the freight charges may be more than the amount reflected on your order due to tax and other miscellaneous fees.
Standard Shipping via YunExpress is a tax-inclusive option for some countries. However, Mechlands will not be responsible for additional administrative or handling fees charged by your local courier company or customs. Please kindly check this with your local customs.
For certain remote areas, there may be additional charges via Express Shipping. We will contact you if there is a need to make additional payments. Should you have any other queries regarding shipments, please contact us before placing an order.
Who does pay for the import tax/custom fees?
Customers have to bear any form of custom/import/processing fees that are applicable for your parcel.
If the custom fees and the delivery of the parcel are rejected by the recipient, the shipping cost still needs to be paid. Mechlands only arranges the refund of the order amount after deducting the shipping cost incurred.
Which countries do you ship to?
We are generally able to ship to most countries via Express Shipping, and many countries via Standard Shipping. Shipping methods may alter due to different situations. After proceeding to Checkout, the available shipping method(s) and cost will be stated before the payment page.

Note: For countries and areas of Africa, Alaska, Argentina, Canada, Hawaii, Kuwait, Mauritius, Montenegro and Sri Lanka, to name a few, we can only do Express Shipping. This may be subjected to changes due to unpredictable events such as pandemic, war, and etc.
How do I cancel order?
Cancellation or/and modification of orders can only be done manually via our staff, provided that our Warehouse Team has not processed your order.
As our Support Team may not be available during non-working days and weekends, please place your order wisely as support cannot be guaranteed for such requests.
Should you really need to cancel or/and modify your order after purchase, please contact us via our support email (support@mechlands.com) or website chat. We will help you with the changes if that could be done.

Do I get tracking details for my order?
After placing an order, you will receive the order confirmation email. After your order is shipped, you will also receive a tracking email. You can track your order via the tracking number online. Should you not have received the emails or face any difficulties tracking your order, please kindly contact us for support.
What if i dislike the product once it arrives?
On the ground of disliking a product, you may return any non-customized and non-sales product that is sealed, within the 15 days upon receiving it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It also must be in the original packaging. Customized and sales products, accessories, or spare parts are excluded from the 15-day return policy. The shipping fee, handling fees, or any form of tax caused by return will NOT be refunded.
My product came with some kind of factory issue
For factory defective items within the first 30 days upon delivery, you would need to provide a solid proof. All customers are strongly advised to take an unboxing video of their parcel and packaging. If the item is defective due to manufacturing issues instead of unguided manual modifying/disassembling, Epomaker will provide a shipping label and reship the replacement unit or refund to you after receiving the return parcel.
