Eminent Ears, based in Hong Kong, started with a simple yet ambitious vision: to craft affordable, well-tuned endgame in-ear monitors (IEMs) that deliver audiophile-quality sound accessible to everyone. After the successful launch of RUBY, the brand is now set to introduce its second project in the Gemstone Series: SAPPHIRE. With this release, Eminent Ears aims to offer a variation of RUBY, designed for long listening sessions, with enhanced bass and a warmer, more relaxed treble. This new model, while sharing key elements with RUBY, reflects the brand’s continued commitment to innovation and feedback from the audiophile community.
Design Inspired by Sapphire Gemstone
The SAPPHIRE IEM takes its inspiration from the symbolic properties of sapphires — representing wisdom, honesty, and loyalty. The soothing blue faceplate of SAPPHIRE represents purity, rationality, and elegance. This refined design is paired with a body made from medical-grade resin, complemented by rhinestones, creating an ethereal visual effect. The internal drivers are suspended, sparkling within this "sea of stars," reflecting the community-driven evolution of the product. SAPPHIRE embodies the balance between innovative design and technical excellence, representing Eminent Ears' growth and the collaboration between the brand and its dedicated supporters.
A Warm, Relaxed Tuning for Extended Listening
SAPPHIRE builds on the foundation laid by RUBY, featuring a similar dynamic driver and balanced armature configuration. However, it introduces a significant upgrade with the inclusion of a Sonion bone conduction driver, designed to enhance bass impact and tactile sensations, particularly in the bass-mid region. This addition allows SAPPHIRE to offer a more textured and detailed bass performance while preventing bass from bleeding into the upper frequencies. This means listeners can enjoy extended listening sessions without fatigue, as the relaxed treble and enhanced bass technicalities complement each other seamlessly.
The Tribrid Driver Configuration: Dynamic, Balanced, and Bone Conduction Drivers
The SAPPHIRE IEM boasts a tribrid driver setup: it combines a SPM complex diaphragm dynamic driver, four Knowles balanced armature drivers, and a Sonion bone conduction driver. This configuration ensures an unparalleled listening experience, with enhanced bass texture, a detailed midrange, and clear treble. A carefully engineered four-way crossover ensures precise frequency management, contributing to the IEM's excellent soundstage and separation. Individual Chamber Resonance System (ICRS)
SAPPHIRE retains the innovative ICRS (Individual Chamber Resonance System) technology, first introduced with RUBY. Inspired by the design principles of concert halls and orchestras, ICRS ensures a wide, immersive soundstage. The technology works by adjusting the distance and angle of each driver and implementing individual chambers for each group of drivers. This creates a resonance effect that provides excellent separation between instruments and a spacious listening experience. With this system in place, SAPPHIRE delivers exceptional spatial imaging and clarity, ideal for both detailed and dynamic musical genres.
Collaboration with Vortex Cables
To ensure optimal performance, Eminent Ears has partnered with Vortex Cables to create a custom cable that complements SAPPHIRE’s exceptional sound quality. The cable features silver-plated copper alloy conductors and cross braiding, offering high-frequency connectivity and enhanced durability. The 4.4mm balanced plug and gold-plated copper connectors ensure that SAPPHIRE performs to its highest potential, contributing to its expansive soundstage and clear, balanced audio reproduction.

FAQ's
How long does it take to process an order?
For in-stock products, your order is expected to be shipped within 3 working days. Customized items and pre-orders take a longer time (do check in with our staff for more information). On normal non-sale days, once your parcel is shipped:
- For Standard Shipping, it takes about 2-3 weeks for items to be delivered after it is shipped. For some countries, it might take up to 1-2 months, depending on your country and its custom procedure. The duration for transit is beyond our control. Mechlands does not arrange refunds for such cases. Please consider an upgrade to DHL Express or keep the waiting time in mind.
- For Express Shipping, it takes about 3-10 days for items to be delivered after it is shipped.

Shipping methods and period might be affected and changed due to festive seasons, pandemic circumstances or other unforeseen circumstances.
What kind of shipping do you offer?
We have two shipping methods - Standard Shipping and Express Shipping.
Standard Shipping is free for most countries/areas.
Express Shipping via DHL Express or FedEx is 10-40USD (excluding tax) depending on your country. If your order is over 500USD, DHL Express Shipping is free*.
*KiiBOOM keyboards are not eligible for free shipping.
Shipping fees exclude import taxes or processing fees that may be applicable for your country. Mechlands is not responsible for such fees. Should you refuse to pay the tax/customs fees, shipping fees will still be deducted from the amount paid for the two-way freight charges. The cost of the freight charges may be more than the amount reflected on your order due to tax and other miscellaneous fees.
Standard Shipping via YunExpress is a tax-inclusive option for some countries. However, Mechlands will not be responsible for additional administrative or handling fees charged by your local courier company or customs. Please kindly check this with your local customs.
For certain remote areas, there may be additional charges via Express Shipping. We will contact you if there is a need to make additional payments. Should you have any other queries regarding shipments, please contact us before placing an order.
Who does pay for the import tax/custom fees?
Customers have to bear any form of custom/import/processing fees that are applicable for your parcel.
If the custom fees and the delivery of the parcel are rejected by the recipient, the shipping cost still needs to be paid. Mechlands only arranges the refund of the order amount after deducting the shipping cost incurred.
Which countries do you ship to?
We are generally able to ship to most countries via Express Shipping, and many countries via Standard Shipping. Shipping methods may alter due to different situations. After proceeding to Checkout, the available shipping method(s) and cost will be stated before the payment page.

Note: For countries and areas of Africa, Alaska, Argentina, Canada, Hawaii, Kuwait, Mauritius, Montenegro and Sri Lanka, to name a few, we can only do Express Shipping. This may be subjected to changes due to unpredictable events such as pandemic, war, and etc.
How do I cancel order?
Cancellation or/and modification of orders can only be done manually via our staff, provided that our Warehouse Team has not processed your order.
As our Support Team may not be available during non-working days and weekends, please place your order wisely as support cannot be guaranteed for such requests.
Should you really need to cancel or/and modify your order after purchase, please contact us via our support email (support@mechlands.com) or website chat. We will help you with the changes if that could be done.

Do I get tracking details for my order?
After placing an order, you will receive the order confirmation email. After your order is shipped, you will also receive a tracking email. You can track your order via the tracking number online. Should you not have received the emails or face any difficulties tracking your order, please kindly contact us for support.
What if i dislike the product once it arrives?
On the ground of disliking a product, you may return any non-customized and non-sales product that is sealed, within the 15 days upon receiving it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It also must be in the original packaging. Customized and sales products, accessories, or spare parts are excluded from the 15-day return policy. The shipping fee, handling fees, or any form of tax caused by return will NOT be refunded.
My product came with some kind of factory issue
For factory defective items within the first 30 days upon delivery, you would need to provide a solid proof. All customers are strongly advised to take an unboxing video of their parcel and packaging. If the item is defective due to manufacturing issues instead of unguided manual modifying/disassembling, Epomaker will provide a shipping label and reship the replacement unit or refund to you after receiving the return parcel.
